Players and officials of National League side, Calabar Rovers lost cash and personal belongings close to Eleme, Rivers State on their way to honour a league game in Port Harcourt, www.calitown.com can confirm. It was further disclosed that the robbers waylaid the bus they were travelling in and at gunpoint, looted the bus and let them off.
Reports from the Rovers camp say even though team officials reported the matter to the League regulating body, the body refused to postpone the game.
