The Aspire Educational Foundation, AEF, a Nigeria-focused non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing educational opportunities and quality for young individuals, says it will continue to support young people with on-hands opportunities that will in turn help enhance the quality and standard of education they are exposed to.

Kasi Usani, founder of the organisation made this disclosure in Ugep, Yakurr LGA, Cross River State, during the inaugural edition of the Aspire Quiz Competition for Secondary Schools in Cross River’s Central Senatorial district.

Usani further informed that, beyond activities like this, the foundation presently sponsoring ten students on scholarship and another batch of apprentices, believes the acquired technical skills will be put to use later as well as help make these apprentices become independent and able to cater for themselves and families.

The quiz competition he informed, will further be designed to handle an expanded format that will see more schools in the Senatorial district take part. This he said will rev up competition and extend much needed exposure and opportunities to schools in the district. Plans are also in place to cover the entire state in the not too distant future.

Three schools, Government Technical College, Obubra, Community Secondary School, Ugep, Yakurr LGA and Community Secondary School, Itigidi, Abi LGA, took part in the event with Community Secondary School, Ugep, emerging first place winners of the inaugural competition.

Established on January 25, 2022, and headquartered in Calabar, Cross River State, AEF aims to inspire and support beneficiaries in both academic and vocational disciplines, guiding them toward greater achievements in life.

AEF’s mission is to inspire, mentor, and financially support young individuals to pursue and achieve their life goals through academic and/or vocational education. The foundation envisions creating a future generation of well-educated and skilled young people who will not only achieve personal success but also emerge as leaders and change agents in society.
