The ZIP was embarked upon in 2009 to address the deteriorating state of the road. The first phase of the project is aimed at addressing the heavily distressed sections of the road while other sections not captured in the original contract scope of works would be addressed when funds become available. This is to ensure that government and the public get the full benefits of the investment made on the roads in terms of improvement in the level of service”.
The contract calitown.com scooped, has been awarded to Messrs Piccolo Brunelli Limited in the sum of N2,999,979,575.00 to N7,613,176,725.00 only.
