While information on the cause of her death is still fuzzy, it is yet to be ascertained if the cause of her death can be traced to any individual or foul play.
On the strength of the information received, www.calitown.com investigations, working with police sources, traced a sister of the deceased who said the last time she saw her alive was this past Sunday. “She showed no signs of illness and we are still in shock that we got a call from the police that she is dead. Our father who is very ill was called and told that his daughter was found dead. We went to the police and we were taken to the mortuary to identify her corpse; she had no injury on her body except for a swelling on her lips and slight bruise on her face that we suspect was because she fell face down”. Asked if an autopsy has been carried out, she responded that, “they say we should pay N150,000 for the autopsy and we do not have that kind of money, we will bury our sister and leave it all in God’s hands”, she concluded.
Meanwhile, the police has arrested a few staff of the resort, thought to have been on duty when the unfortunate incident took place. Investigations are continuing while the family suspects no foul play.
