Five Cross Riverians, two women and three men, are among a comprehensive list of Nigerians appointed into the boards of 42 parastatals and agencies by the Federal Government as contained in a statement issued by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim, calitown.com can reveal.
Consumate politician, Elder Bolaji Anani, was appointed Chairman of the Board, National Institute for Education, Planning and Administration, while the Board of the National Orientation Agency will be chaired by Lt. Col Edoh Obi (rtd).
Mr Eka Williams is appointed Board member, Sheda Science and Technology Complex, while the two women, Ms. Geraldine Oku and Barr. Grace Eni Nsot, will sit on the Boards of the Nigeria Investment Promotion Commission and the Nigerian Agricultural Insurance Corporation, respectively.
Their appointments the statement concluded, have been approved by President Goodluck Jonathan.
