Two newly constructed six classroom blocks with staff rooms and modern toilets each, have been commissioned in Blukonu Migrant School Bebi and Government Secondary School Lushiche, Bishiri North, Obanliku Local Government Area, Cross River State,
Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe, the senator representing Cross River North Senatorial District in the senate, who facilitated this project, emphasized at the project commissioning, the importance of quality education in transforming the lives of young people and further expressed his commitment to supporting educational development in his constituency, especially with projects that will have direct positive impact on the local communities, enhancing job creation and economic growth.
Moses Ocheche, who spoke on behalf of the Bishiri elders, thanked Jarigbe for his efforts in empowering communities and constituents, while assuring the lawmaker of the community’s continued support.
In Bebi, pupils of the school all turned out in their school uniforms to appreciate Jarigbe for facilitating the first academic building with modern equipment in their school.
Jarigbe, accompanied by the member representing Obudu/Bekwarra/Obanliku Federal Constituency, Peter Akpanke and notable party members of the party in the area, later visited the Obanliku LGA Council of Chiefs, over the passing on of former senate president, Joseph Wayas and presented 11 cows and cash to the chiefs.
