Plans have been concluded by the Cross River State governor, Ben Ayade, to host the Taiwan – African Business Association on a four day working visit to Cross River State.
Asuquo Ekpenyong, Commissioner-designate, CRS, who made this disclosure at a meeting with the Calabar Chambers Of Commerce & Industry in Calabar also stated that the working visit commence on Wednesday, November 20, to Saturday, November 23, 2019.
“The visit is part of efforts by Governor Ben Ayade to foster bilateral relations between both countries and to further develop trade benefits for the state with Taiwan”, Asuquo emphasised.
While in the state the team will also pay a visit to foremost Taiwanese businessman, Bob Lin, CEO of Enghuat Industries, palm plantation farmers in the state, on Friday, November 22, 2019, followed by a business lunch with the Governor, Speaker of the CRS House of Assembly, E.J Williams, and captains of industries.
