Cross River State governor, Ben Ayade has suspended Moses Onoh, his Special Adviser on Budget, a statement signed and circulated by Christian Ita, Special Adviser, Media and Publicity to the governor, says.
The statement further revealed that “Onoh’s suspension, which is a direct consequence of his mis-handling of privilege official communication, takes immediate effect.”
“All appointees of government are hereby warned that His Excellency the Governor will not condone any abuse of office of any kind, including the leaking of privilege official communication”, the statement concluded.
Onoh, a former Obubra Local Government Council chairman, sources in Calabar informed www.calitown.com, appears to have handled secret government documents without professional discretion. “Onoh is a former Treasurer in the Local Government system, before he became a chairman and should ideally be properly schooled in handling government information; he didn’t recently demonstrate that schooling leaving the governor with no other decision.”
